Cleveland Grays Armory Museum is dedicated to preserving the military history of Northeast Ohio. The Grays built the Armory in 1893. One of America’s oldest independent armories, it is a Cleveland Landmark and on the National Register of Historic Places. The goal of the Grays is to preserve the historic Armory and advance the military heritage of Greater Cleveland through public awareness, education, tours, and support of the men and women of our armed forces. Tours focus on the history of the militia company and the Armory’s place in Cleveland. “The Castle Downtown” is available for rental.
