The Lorain Historical Society is housed in the original Lorain Public Library building. Now referred to as the Carnegie Center, it includes a museum with historical exhibits of Lorain, a Children's History Room, a research center, administrative offices, a community meeting room, and a spectacular gift shop with locally sourced and inspired merchandise. Administrative offices are open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am - 3 pm.
