Rooted in the Jewish Value of Respect for All Humanity, the Museum is a place where students & learners of all ages & faiths can better understand Jewish heritage and appreciate the common ground humanity shares. The Museum’s Mission: Build bridges of tolerance and understanding by sharing Jewish heritage through the lens of the American experience. The Museum houses 566 works of art, ceremonial objects, and media. This includes 166 artifacts in the Congregation Mishkan Or Gallery, which features a rich selection of ritual objects, sacred books and scrolls, & fine art from all over the world.
