Founded in 1968, the Solon Historical Society preserves the history of Solon and its surrounding region through its museum, archival collections, and public programs. The museum stewards objects, textiles, photographs, and records that document local heritage, and is actively developing exhibits, educational initiatives, and professional practices aligned with AAM standards. SHS welcomes learners and visitors of all ages and backgrounds, creating a space where the community can explore Solon’s history and see themselves as part of its ongoing story.
