The Spirit of ’76 Museum honors Archibald Willard, the artist behind "The Spirit of '76," and displays an extensive collection of his works. Housed in a repurposed cheese warehouse with three floors and a mezzanine, it highlights Southern Lorain County history, including the cheese industry, railway development, farm tools, period clothing, military history, and individuals such as Alex Justice—who walked from Ohio to Florida collecting fossils and artefacts. The museum library includes photographs, bound editions of the Wellington Enterprise newspaper, yearbooks, and various books.
